Just a little insight about me.

As a photographer, I have to give some credit to my father. If I remember correctly, he started getting interested in photography at my wedding in 1989. As a hobby on the side, he began taking on jobs such as weddings and family portraits.

I started admiring his work from afar, and starting seeing more into the photo than just the picture itself. He was capturing a moment. A moment is something you will never get back but will always be able to share...with a photograph. I was so fond of portraits and the art form, I began taking photos myself. I would do simple weddings and family portraits.

About 10 years ago, my father gave me one of his 35mm cameras. It was one of the best gifts I ever got. I started snapping photos immidately, and realized that I had my own creative art form. I was able to catch a moment. From that day on, my path was chosen. I finally found a passion that I was good at and that I loved.

With that said, I would do some more weddings, family portraits, and children. It took on a life of its own. Then in 2007, Lisa Evans Photography was born.

I'm 37 years old, and I have been married 20 years this June. I have two amazing children who support me, A great husband who takes pride in my creations, and a father who is proud that his daughter has the same passion as his own.

To my family: I love you all deeply and I want to thank you for standing by my side.
